Thought I would give the Jailbreak tho=ing a whirl now the “the man” has said it’s cool and I’m not breaking any laws. Plus, I’m no longer under warranty with this thing anyway.

UPDATE: Downloaded and installed Jailbreak using ‘Spirit’. Super easy. Installed a couple of CYDIA apps including one that changes the theme of the iPod Touch… pretty cool. Also, installed a multi-tasker that uses an Palm Pre like interface - very cool.
Added Grooveshark.com app… TOTAL MONEY! Worth Jailbreaking for this alone.
So far, I’d give jailbreaking a big thumbs up with just one caveat… the interface and CYDIA store are messy. If you’re used to the clean, simplistic design of the iPhone and the iTunes/App Store this will take some getting used to —- but definitely beneficial.
