HTC Hero - Android Test Drive. As an experiment, I picked up the HTC Hero from Sprint. I was interested to try out Android and see how it compares to my experience with the iPhone (cough) I mean iPod Touch. I am 3 days in now and my experience has been mixed. The first 2 day were fairly good… Battery life aside. Today I’ve experienced a lot crashing (which ironically, I think is tied to Google’s own Goggles app). At this point I would give the phone a C, Android a B-, and Sprint a C+. As of now, I would I anticipate returning the phone before the 30 day trial is up… but we’ll see. Stay tuned.
