Penn State's "Non-Traditional" Situation Calls for...
In just over 45 days, the once unwavering coaching situation at Penn State has been turned upside and down and decimated by scandal of the highest magnitude. A legendary coach who has sat at the helm for nearly 50 years has been shamed and thrown aside (whether rightfully or by a blood-thirsty media, I will leave for others to discuss). Uncertainty of the very future of this once proud program has...

My sentiments exactly.
I’ve seen this trailer at least a dozen times and have no idea what the movie’s about… except that it apparently involves Boston in some shape or form.

Jailbreak update... mmm - not so much
So after a week or so of living with my jailbroken iPod Touch, I’ve come to the following conclusion:
Jailbreaking is neat and there are certainly some advantages but after like 3 days you kind of want your iPhone/Touch back the way it was.
The emulators are cool, multitasking nice, and Grooveshark Mobile is total money but in the end jailbreaking is just really janky. It was definitely...
Fare thee well Google Wave - We hardly knew ye. →
Talk about “much ado over nothing”. Google Wave was the hottest thing since sliced bread when it launched last year. As a serial early-adopter, I tried it but for the life of me I couldn’t figure out how to use it… and apparently neither could anyone else.
Now I feel like all the time spent seeking an invite to this “must have” service was time wasted....

Jailbreaking my iPod Touch...
Thought I would give the Jailbreak tho=ing a whirl now the “the man” has said it’s cool and I’m not breaking any laws. Plus, I’m no longer under warranty with this thing anyway.
More updates to come…
UPDATE: Downloaded and installed Jailbreak using ‘Spirit’. Super easy. Installed a couple of CYDIA apps including one that changes the theme of the...

Android Test Drive - Post Mortem
So today I returned the HTC Hero from Sprint to Best Buy. Unfortunately for both Sprint & Android the best part of my 2.5 weeks of ownership of the Hero was the ease in returning the device and canceling my service. So kudos to BB and Sprint for sticking to their “30-day Guarantee” advertising without a “hook”. I walked out of Best Buy about 20-minutes after walking in,...
Android Test Drive - Update #1
Love and cellphones are fickle things.
After an initial wave of excitement, I am quickly becoming annoyed and disinterested in this HTC Hero from Sprint. The ease of use is “aiight” but as others who have compared Android and iPhone before have noted… the fit and finish just isn’t there. You can customize the hell out of it, sure, but wouldn’t you just prefer to have...

How am I just now finding this? This is awesome. Tell the truth, if it didn’t say “Funny or Die” in the bottom left had corner you’d think this was legit. I’d drop 10-bones for this flick.
Long live Weird Al.

My "Use Case" for the iPad
Having had a full week to digest the idea of an Apple iPad and looking at the all the opinions on the pros and cons I think I’ve finally decided that I’ll be getting Steve Job’s shiny new device when it is released in a few weeks. And I’m excited about it too.
Everybody’s got their own reasons why the iPad sucks or why it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread...
